Setting up GPRS connection

Hi,

I am using a skeye.pad pos device. My goal is to setup a GPRS connection (internet over GPRS).

As described in the manual, I have created a new network connection using COM1.

When I try to start the connection, it tries to open the port and then give an error, "Port not available, another application may be using it".

I tried to close all the applications running, but still give the same error.

Also tried to open the COM1 port using the terminal app and it works fine, I can send and receive AT commands to the modem.

The GSM setup application uses COM6 and is not able to read any information from the modem.

Any suggestions ?

Note: this is a brand new device.

Ich habe ein älteres Skeye webpanel 90300 ersteigert, nun möchte ich damit eine GSM Internet verbindung aufbauen, kann aber in den einstellungen nirgends den APN oä. eintragen. Wie gehe ich nun vor?
